I was so excited to meet Lucas when he came in just 8 days after he was born at Putnam Hospital. I’d already met Mom and Dad for their maternity session in the spring, and they were so cute that I knew Lucas would be adorable!
I loved all the pictures from this session, but I really adore the macro shots. I think the ones shot on the white are some of my favorites from this session—so cute!
Mom told the most adorable story about how they found out the gender of their baby:
“We had the ultrasound technician write down the gender of our baby and put it in an envelope. We then went to a party supply store and asked them to fill up six black balloons with either pink or blue confetti depending on what was written in the envelope. That night, we had a dinner party for both sets of grandparents. After dinner, everyone grabbed a balloon, and we all popped it at the same time. That way, everyone found out the gender at the same time!”
Samantha & Matthew, thank you so much for letting me into this special part of your lives so I could meet this little guy! He has no idea yet just how loved he is. I can’t wait to see you again soon, when Lucas is 6 or 7 months old—those milestone sessions are so much fun!
If you are looking for a Connecticut or New York maternity, newborn or baby photographer I would love the opportunity to work with you!
Thank you so much to Lucas’ mom and dad for choosing me to be their photographer, and thank you for stopping by to take a look at this beautiful session. If you are planning to book a session, please be sure to pre-book! It is SO important, I have already starting booking as far out as December and I have only limited availability for the remainder of July and August! If you are looking to book a late summer or fall session, don’t hesitate, to book now. That is my busiest season, and I book up very quickly. I hate having to tell someone that I don’t have a session available for them. You can easily contact me by using the contact tab at the top of this page.
