I met Hailey’s mom several years ago when I did newborn pictures for her first daughter, Kaelyn. I always love when clients come back to see me when they have another baby. To me, that’s a sign of a happy client—which makes me happy. She was a little older than the typical newborns that I photograph (I got to see her five weeks after she was born at Danbury Hospital), but no worries, we had a perfect session!
I love, love, love the images of Hailey on the white sleeping. Those setups are my favorite—so simple, sweet, and timeless.
Mom mentioned during the session that being a mom the second time around is so different. I know I can identify with this—and I think most moms of two or more can, too. With your first, everything is so new and sometimes overwhelming (I know there were times I was overwhelmed when I was a new mom). You want everything to be just so! And then, with your second, it all changes. When I had my daughter (our first), I wanted everything to be new and hers. When Jackson came along, I realized that some of those things were not so important to me. With your second, it’s easier to relax.
Mom also told me about the trouble they went through picking out a name:
We had a hard time agreeing on a name. It took us until the day after she was born to name her. She’s a great baby, so sweet and a good sleeper!
Thanks, Jill & Tim, for bringing Hailey to me and for trusting me with another gorgeous baby! I loved seeing you again, and I hope to have the pleasure again very soon.
If you are looking for a Connecticut or New York maternity, newborn or baby photographer I would love the opportunity to work with you!
Thank you so much to Hailey’s mom and dad for choosing me to be their photographer, and thank you for stopping by to take a look at this beautiful session. If you are planning to book a session, please be sure to pre-book! It is SO important, I have already starting booking as far out as December and I have only limited availability for the remainder of August & September! If you are looking to book a late summer or fall session, don’t hesitate, to book now. That is my busiest season, and I book up very quickly. I hate having to tell someone that I don’t have a session available for them. You can easily contact me by using the contact tab at the top of this page.
