Baby Wesley | Milford, CT Newborn Photographer

Do you have children of your own or are you on the journey to be a new parent? There is nothing like becoming a parent. You have so many emotions. For me, I was so excited when I was pregnant with my daughter, Allison. I couldn’t wait for her to get here and to get to know here and to be her mama! I am sure that the emotions are different for every parent. But you know what seems to be the same? The overwhelming love that a parent feels for their child. This is something that I love to see during my newborn sessions. I love how even though they are working on less sleep than ideal, they are totally smitten with their new little one!

This family was no different. I love how happy and proud they are of their little guyHere are a few of my favorites from their newborn photography session.

Payne | Spring Mini Session | CT & NY Baby and Family Photographer

I must apologize, I have been so busy lately that I have fallen very far behind on my little blog. This wonderful family came back to see me for a spring mini session. What a great family to work with! I first met them back in the fall when they came to see me for little Heidi’s newborn pictures! I was so happy when they came back to see me! I love that! It is so fun for me to see the babies and children that I photography grow upMakes my heart smile.

Annalise | Southwick, MA Newborn Photographer | Jessica Higgins Photography

Well, this blog post is long overdue! Things have been so busy lately and I just haven’t had time for bloggingTonight, I am making some time This little girl was such a little peanut and slept like a little charmer. She and her family have a special in my heart! I have been photographing them for over two years. First when I did her oldest brother Jamison’s 1 year pictures and then her other brother Locklan’s newborn pictures and followed him through his first year!

Wilson Spring Mini Session | CT Family Photographer

This year I decided to do some spring mini sessions that would be fun for spring and Easter! This adorable little man and his parents came down to see me all the say from Southwick MA on referral of some great clients! This little guy took a little bit of coaxing to get him to warm up, but once I shared my secret with him he opened right up! My secret, you want to know my secret? Oh, that is easy. I can’t count to 10! He thought it was absolutely hysterical and it got him to smile and even laugh a little bit too! Here are two of my favorites!
